see information below
from the actual liner notes:
tracks 1, 2, and 5 were recorded on August 15, 1996 in the privacy of Mike's own room,
live and loud.
track 3 recorded on April 26 and track 4 record on April 1 of 1997, both at the KMFA studio.
track 6 recorded on May 4, 1997 at Ben Galway's house (KMFA mixdown).
all songs by mike molero except: over the edge, originally by greg sage & the
wipers, played in the style of hole, and the old lady who swallowed a fly which is
a song from flipper, but is really just a stupid nursery rhyme. satan's hymn is really
an instrumental of 'some bunny loves me' (whatever the shit that is).

We would like to THANK
all you idiots who worked hard and then blew your money on this tape. a big thanks to ben
galway and beangrrl8. thanks to mickey's uncle for even more shirts! thanks to nuts can surf
for the competition. thanks to all of the people who supported us since our start. a special
thanks to tony walsh for inspiration to track 1, mon sex. another thanks to kurt cobain. one
more little thank you to the guy who invented Spam®. Later!
other notes and fun facts:
Fishy Green Stuff was sold on 90-minute cassette tapes
with the entire program recorded to both sides A and B.
although paul cunningham was credited in the liner notes, he did not actually appear on any
of the recordings found on the demo.
the little ditty, jinxed, has actually developed into a full song sometime between 2002-2005 and has still
not been recorded.
tracks 3 & 4 were recorded solely by mike molero (with the exception of mickey playing drums in track 3).
one of the voices, of
ben galway, in satan's hymn is uncredited in the liner notes. we cannot remember if this was
intentional or not.
other than blue, blue sky and the worms are coming, none of the songs on
Fishy Green Stuff were ever played in front of an audience.
BONUS TRACKS
7. blue, blue sky '06 download
8. chastity / the worms are coming (live) download
track 7 recorded via 4-track on July 5, 2006 solely by mike molero. the reason he revisited the song is:
"i always thought the song sucked, but i could never figure out if it was the song itself or how bad each of
the different versions came out. we did like five takes and they were all horrible, including the one we used for
the demo. this new one is more than tolerable, but still i can't help but think that i completely ripped off a Nirvana
song. but fuck it."
track 8 recorded live at the band's 10-Year Anniversary Rockathon, filmed
on December 29, 2004 in Chalmette, LA. additional musician is byron holmes playing bass. for a
handful of years, the song chastity replaced the worms as the band's set-closer
up until this very night, where chasity (appearing as only a teaser) was put to eternal
rest and the worms made its comeback.
All original tracks (1 thru 6) remastered, mixed, and ripped to mp3 in January of 2004.
All tracks compiled & uploaded to bomberpunk.com on
March 6th, 2007.
