other notes and fun facts:

FoRK SHeeT PeaS originally sold for $4.00. okay actually it didn't sell. copies were left at the Underground Sounds record store on Magazine street.
months later, we were told to come pick them up!

The album title spawned from Nirvana's 1993 record, In Utero.
Next time you have access to a copy, scan the lyrics.

"They say we're Generation X, but I say we're Generation Fuck You"
for years i've been wondering where the hell this clip originated from. we have finally discovered that it is from Cypress Hill's performance at Woodstock '94. It a quote from B-Real.

the cassette insert included several random clip-art and cartoon characters, including felix the cat, beavis, sonic the hedgehog, itchy & scratchy, a toy soldier, three dancing skeleton (stolen from the official Offspring website when Ixnay On The Hombre was new), a hot chick taking her shorts off, and a can of spam. and all of that shit fit on page 2 of the insert!

FoRK SHeeT PeaS is the only record to date that does not include the band's name on the cover.
it is also the first time the unofficial band symbol (the triangle/dot thing) was used.
the cover was made using the airbrush tool in Microsoft Paint.

Mickey wrote Anarchy and Truth, but Mike sings them both...

Mickey was still living in Maryland in 1997, and when he left New Orleans to go back for the next schoolyear, a handful of the tracks were left unfinished.

The original version of Barium appeared on the band's very first release, in 1995, called Minnow.

Mike recorded all of Independence completely by himself. The song was written on July 4th.

We loved In The Sun so much, we recorded four versions of it.

not only is the cover version of Dirty Magic bad, but it also one of the band's worst recordings ever.
it may even be the worst cover ever recorded. your ears will bleed. you have been warned.

Flow Of The Nation was revisited in 2004 on the band's eight-track recorder.

Mike & Mickey were walking to lunch one day, passed by two old men in conversation, and overheard what sounded like "Well, you know, the first generation of pong..."
This sparked the classic favorite track, Atari.

Mickey did the drumming on All The Time and The Grande Finale.

On the cassette insert, there is a small section of text that was purposely printed as small as possible.
you need both good eyes and a magnifying glass in order to read it. i have neither, so *shrugs*
