other notes and fun facts:

The band's website, although untouched in years, is still online. You can listen to a ninth song, Annie (live) in real audio format only.

Wounded Moose never recorded a second demo, although their website claims a live set was sold under the title Live From Hell. Probably not.

There's no source of confirmation, but it is believed that the name Gutterballs had something to do with the movie The Big Lebowski.

Greg Hoover and Anthony Ortego were in previous bands such as Hyena Revolt (formerly known as The Grapes) as well as Drool (formerly known as The Bowel Movements From Hell).
Hyena Revolt was a two-piece, and Drool included Penguin's frontman Michale Molero.
Neither Hyena Revolt nor Drool went anywhere.

At one point, Wounded Moose included PENGUIN's ex-bassit, Paul Cunningham. Paul practiced and played a few shows with the Moose, but does not appear on Gutterballs.

The Wounded Moose performance at the Chalmette-based Coolfest 99 featured Michale Molero on bass for their entire set except their closing song, which was R.E.M.'s It's The End Of The World As We Know It.

Daniel Fanguy makes a cameo appearance at a live PENGUIN performance on January 23, 1999, singing backup during the chorus of Trend Junkie. Anyone interested in this clip can contact the webmaster.

After Wounded Moose, Greg Hoover drummed for the band Soresh.
To our knowledge, neither Ortego nor Fanguy continued to persue music after the moose ended.

Both Daniel Fanguy and Greg Hoover are married with children, but not to each other.

The tracklist is screwed up on the cassette insert. Tracks 6 & 7 are listed as love song and wasted time. however, they are in reverse-order on the actual tape.

The 8-track master tapes of Gutterballs have been destroyed by the elements (heat exposure), therefore it is impossible to remix/remaster the songs.

Wounded Moose is one of only two bands outside of PENGUIN to record at KMFA Studios, the other band being Interstate 12.
